Dictation

Friday evening, some dine by candlelight, others go to the movies, others watching the eternal Thalassa on TV ... I think this Friday night, I made a dictation! I see in the background is that I'm already nostalgic for my old art teacher of letters but no, I just need to clear my head, to hold my hands and to be guided by other . Good thing the forum scrap Tempor'elles proposed just a night live: For the uninitiated, a forum moderator offers a set and wants to stick it on the same night. This time, so that was a dictation is to say that we are given instructions very very accurate and we do what we can because without seeing what it looks like it is not always easy. At the conclusion of the live, one shows our productions and we have fun or you're ashamed, it depends :-) Tonight, in fact, the instructions were quite complicated and far from what I usually do but it ' is precisely what I like! This page gave me so hard time but, ultimately, I like it though!

It integrates my album for the month of July 2009.

Friday night was a relationship like that, Emile Zola and I # 1 Fortune Rougon

Moka blog with books we proposed quite a challenge in order to reread all the volumes of the Rougon-Macquart, by reason of one book per month, which should lead us until August 2012! Phew, large program but it is precisely because we have a relationship like that, Emile Zola me and I could not resist: discovered in high school, I really stopped reading this author and it is even a course on stylistics in Zola that I decided to continue my studies to PhD letters, even if ultimately my PhD focused on any something else. In short, Zola is one of the writers who made me love literature point to want (need) to study and then teach it today in my new profession, to transmit taste.

Fortune Rougon is the first volume of the mass of the Rougon-Macquart but it is often not the one you read first. Yet it is essential to grasp the essence of the work since it marks the birth of the dichotomy between the two branches of the family, from the same mother, Adelaide Fouque, but both the husband's gardener, Rougon, the Other Lover's smuggler Macquart. Legitimate / illegitimate, respectable or not ... everything is said. The genealogy will be the crux of all volumes of the series, creating a whole set of similarities but also rejection between the characters. Only by reading Fortune Rougon we can truly understand the ins and outs of these passionate relationship. This book asks also the intrinsic relationship between the great story (here the coup that led to the Second Empire) and the history of individuals who derive profit or not.
Beyond these reasons that make reading the first volume indispensable if we want to understand all, what I like, me, in this novel lies elsewhere. Like
talent as a portrait of Zola, who manages to rise literally faces but also of souls in the eyes of the reader. In rereading this volume, moreover, I perceived an irony or humor, which I had not felt when I first read it, probably because I was too young at the time. Painting most buried thoughts is simply delicious.
What I also like the characters that appetite: hunger for power for Pierre Rougon appetite for possession of his wife Felicity, have no appetite for anything Antoine Macquart appetites for which figures are ready to sacrifice everything. The title suggests the end of this volume, namely the victory Rougon, but interest focuses on small arrangements with history, with convictions on the shenanigans that lead to this outcome as a result it itself. I finally
poetry of Zola, whose style is very colorful: the love between Silvere and Miette is a tragic beauty, very touching and innocent sweetness that makes it even more disgusting greed of the other characters because it is she, in a sense, causing the loss of two young lovers. That ticket
a bit messy but reflecting, I believe, everything I tried to reread this novel!

Juan Pedro Domecq (2) Juan Pedro Domecq

August 17, 1976, Arenas Dax, 6 toros de Juan Pedro Domecq for Palomo Linares, Angel Teruel, El Niño de la Capea. cumbre A challenge for the young aficionado that I was then, especially with the presence of Teruel, my favorite at the time, but the insignificance of the disability and Juan Pedro Domecq arm scandal. "Of course, pretty but very light armor Juan Pedro Domecq fine, little was expected of titanic battles, three short of a satisfactory varita, only the ultimate of Jandilla, recharging ... with Iron and maintaining good juice and sustenance. Not only tiercé (1, 2 and 4), Noblot and without great strength, was far from evoking the Juan Pedro Domecq of yesteryear, but the other two sources would be crazy scandals ". (Georges Leste Toros No. 1035-1036)
For Dax, the year of scandals after the bullfight fraudulent sent two days earlier by Fermin Bohorquez who had transformed her into novillos toros by falsifying their guarismo (a 2 added to the 3! ).
For aficionados, a boon because it has almost never been seen since neither nor Bohorquez Juan Pedro Domecq in our Southwest.
For me, a first-night, I discovered in fact that day the bulls of the prestigious Iron Veragua, I have not seen him since! In Lands
Taurines this problem faced by low livestock from the 70s is explained by an excess Inbreeding linked to "the use of two stallion from unions between father and mother born of same parents, which had helped focus the qualities of these, but had also brought in their various offspring hidden characters."
Since then, independent reports (the only ones likely to be taken seriously), we show that farming continues to hang around in the shallows: weakness if not permanent total disability, soseria generalized . Occasionally, an individual less weakling takes his 80 passes without flinching. In general, the pardons and all the crows away toreria for a few days. Finally, in the best case a good toro reminds everyone that the good blood still flows in the veins of livestock.

If I'm willing to give credit to what JP Domecq in its search for greater fiereza is that I think true nobility is the result of a ferocity brought to its extreme point. What you see in the best Ymbro Fuente (the domecq) but Victorino, Cuadri and La Quinta.

But my romantic bull was showered by assertions that the ganadero jaboneros breeding bulls do not come from crossing with Veraguas. Again, one can believe the farmer but may also be wary. The purpose may be intended not to scare our stars easily entangled, which could be moved to face the idea of having a distant ancestry toros Veragua.

What is certain is that ultimately the truth will be told by the behavior of bulls in ruedo. The ruedo, one of the last places where lies can not hide?

Breathing

This is a cold and rainy Tuesday who promised to be still full of fatigue and trips. And yet, an annoyance that quickly turned into a little impromptu party waiting for me when I returned last night and changed all what was expected: the mistress of my great Damsel in need of rest, parents were invited to take steps to keep children at home.
Yesterday evening, taken in lively discussions about the poor state of Education closes classes, exhausted teachers, reduced the number of substitutes, depriving children of the reception they were entitled to a few years ago still absence (pre) occupied by these sad facts, we had made no decision as to what we would do our big girl on Tuesday. But this morning we soon seemed clear that Tuesday would be ours to my Maid and I, it was timely for we find ourselves, at last, and it leaves a bit of life flowing on us, without obligation to anything. Thus we first Vaqué each in our little occupations, then we read side by side
This afternoon, we prepared a cake for afternoon tea and dinner

we scrapped two photos printed long

we made a detour to stroll before seeking MiniRikiki our school. We watched Snow White , huddled all three under the rug.
Jealous of what she suspected to have missed the MiniRikiki proved well bitch
but it was a good war.
Tonight my heart is quite cold yesterday all warmed up. That feels good! Tomorrow morning he will leave much earlier but it will be a little softer than it would have been without this Tuesday stolen.

My Wishlist Tuesday - January

I hope that all year will not be like this January because the balance of my desires is ... zero, zero points, quetch! However, I am committed to this challenge by Cappuccinette few months ago and I intend to continue but then I'll have to shake myself (and I found a niche p't be between 2 and 3am ' I think I have nothing planned for that time!).
So, let's quickly talk about the property: no I did not create a new item (like 1) even though I still think much, no I did not eat couscous (but a squeegee Matters ? no? ah ... - Want 3). I believe that my non-envy of the 2nd Tuesday is still what I managed to better this month! I can not even say that February would be better because I'm afraid it is worse, but I have a little hope for March, so be patient!
Undoubtedly I win the dunce cap this month so will soon see all that copinettes have managed to accomplish, they!

Cute Japanese Manga Generator

balance apologize for the momentary interruption of our programs ...

If I could, I would put a focus

instead of this blog, the time it finds an acceptable appearance! You'll notice that nothing goes so precisely that for Once, I was pretty satisfied with the appearance of the premises. But now, the website from which I hacked this appearance (well, old) has changed its platform and when I wanted to update the links as I have been asked, nothing has been willing to work. I also find it difficult to access the tool to create Blogger templates which crashes twice in three. Anyway ... it'll come, I do not know what it will look like but it will not stay like that!

Msx Rom Metal Gear 2 (u)

Sobibor Jean MOLLA

"I finally know that I'm in parentheses. Me, I at least have that chance. I'm like I am because I am in the process of life. An anorexic is not on the sidelines. It was made as thin as the line that separates the margin of space where one writes. One day or another, if all goes well, it returns to the page. That's what I'm trying to do. "

Emma is an anorexic adolescent. When his grandmother dies, she discovers a diary in which she learns that her great grandfather was part of the legion of French volunteers who collaborated with the Germans during World War II and has thus contributed to the deaths of many innocent people. The girl trying to learn more and will understand: the pages of narrative interspersed with excerpts from the diary of her grandmother, as well as building a dialogue between generations, between the stories. but, oddly, between questions of today that yesterday's answers are finally made. Gradually the girl realizes that her own body reproduces what happened to the deportees in the camps, including one whose grandfather was the custodian ;: Sobibor .
She decides to tell his grandfather what she knows and deliver the newspaper to Justice, thus freeing themselves from disease her unconscious laid upon him as if a fault had been expiated at last, even if the consequences of this confrontation with his grandfather will be tragic ...

Beyond the very strong emotion that captures the reader from first to last page, this story raises interesting questions about the weight of family secrets even across generations, memory collectively, the choice to live with or to rebel. The author, Jean Molla , an adult male, therefore, finds the right words to be heard the voice of this young girl who watches her body abused by the disease, describing his emotions of children forced to grow up too fast, who must cope with loneliness to find answers to many questions before they finally released wider world. At the same time, Jean Molla was delivered to a patient work of historians to collect the limited information available on the Polish camp of Sobibor (only camp where prisoners were insurgents) to write the 'story of his novel. A novel
to put all hands from 14 or 15 years.

I worked yesterday and this morning when the Mini Rkiki probably tired of seeing me in my office, came to draw near to me, saying she was going to do my portrait. must admit, they are beautiful and exciting installment in the Land Taurines. The latest - n ° 30 - dedicated to World According Parlade to live up to the rule.
course, as always, can not help Andre Viard, wearing his clogs and flog us ad nauseam of toréabilité and market relevance, its credo of the man he shared mundillo for the occasion with Juan Pedro Domecq Solis is built around which this issue. Recognize him, however, deserves to admit that too predictable behavior of bulls recessed Domecq could well lead to its loss of bullfighting and that only the power of resistance aficionados may avoid the worst: "Will they be heard voice and influence on the logic of ganaderos ...?"

Juan Pedro Domecq precisely what man worrying! We already knew about his deadly: the bull-artist (what contempt for bullfighters!), Removal of spikes. It appears here locked in a speech full power of absolute control that borders on megalomania. The use of computer processing system data (title Hal!) It has developed into is the culmination dehumanized. This is a machine capable of giving his toros averages toréabilité extravagant! But when, on the sand of the arena, the reality gives way to fantasy ganadero the whole thing collapses. At that point two years ago, after three disastrous tardes at the feria in April, Juan Pedro were banished from Seville. In fact, what the ganadero called market adjustment and it provides a commercial success is undeniable, I think insurance for figures that his bulls, if they allow nothing brilliant or at least not worthy the difficulty will not as they are weak and Decaster.

If one believes Andre Viard, the ganadero be aware, after so many failures, the lack of caste of its products. The exclusion of Seville, the harsh criticism of aficion and independent press they would have felt that the adequacy of his bulls in the market might take the lead in the wing? Still, he would have undertaken in recent times a shift in selection to increase its fiereza toros. I do not know what Juan Pedro Domecq is behind this lovely expression fiereza (ferocity in French) but dream a little and let the public good, let him go in a few years to see if the bulls have found that they had fiereza there is a half-century and was probably still present in Disparate and Opiparo lidiés in Madrid at the last San Isidro ...

How To Program A Noma Thermostate

When books they have # 5

After a short break, our beautiful challenge " When books they have " returns! I
am especially pleased that I was spoiled this time by reading a little book that I really liked the point of making a sudden heart but before I speak to you, place I invited Henriette, who talks about his reading:

I loved Maybe a love story . Against all odds. I am even tell the truth the first surprise.
Indeed, after reading the previous comments, I really feared the flop. An immature and annoying character, The story begins just as the book ends and leaves you on your hunger is what I feared. But this was not the case. Instead, this book I really enjoyed it.
I will not return as quickly on the story itself, that Virgil plated phone by a woman he does not know, because it is not in the "story" itself is the basis for my interest and the great success of this novel, at least not in the traditional sense. Outwardly, indeed, if one attempts to list the events, it does not happen much in this novel. Some visits to the shrink, a weekend with friends, several cups of tea, two shots son to EDF and a police raid, that's about what is would reduce the narrative scheme. So misery.
But the real adventures, real adventures, routes risky, dangerous, surprising, poignant, that follows the character are all internal. A bit like tropisms of Sarraute, the microphones are revolutions in the consciousness of self and others experienced by Virgil, evolution, the inner journey of being who is the fictional diegesis. How the eternal loser love, unable to pass a bond, some failure before you even begin, without any personal ambition, the kind of undead what Virgil - death from the inside by fear of life in fact - going he manage to transform itself, that is the issue of the novel. We are therefore self-analysis, his inner journey to know, understand, and advance, and this kept me in suspense throughout the story to another.
Because the stakes of this book, in my view, is not whether known or Virgil really going to really know this woman's message on his answering machine. Waiting to be read as having the answer to that is inevitably being disappointed and stay hungry. The title says it all the rest: Maybe a love story. This dealt with this book is the passage of a "never" to "maybe" just how the character opens to the possibility. Not satisfied, not at the event, so to risk, uncertainty finally agreed with a lot of anxiety but also excitement. How Virgil finally gets moving towards life, how he manages to overcome his fears to stop surviving and daring to live, that's what this book tells us. It lets us logically when Virgil finally ready to start living, because then another connection.
This story and this character I was very touched. So a big thank you to those who proposed this novel and gave me this beautiful moment of reading.

***
As for me, I had a great stroke of heart for The Education of a Fairy of Didier Van Cauwelaert.
"(...) the only time I felt my role was not over, that my fate was not an impasse, other detours could bring me back to my starting point was when the wise and polished look of an unidentified man at first tried to guess who I was based on the contents of my cart. She restored the mystery, extension cords, tried my hand identities, existences possible. But without doubt, again, I was delusional. I a client among a thousand, that's nothing (...) that I changed skin buying things I did not need and that I store in my office, imaginary museum, accessories lives than I ' had not chosen. "

There is everything in this book of love, of course, also in disarray, much of the magic of childhood, sickness, mystery, war, prison, a cabin deep in the woods, a woman in man's name, expectations and misunderstandings, of course, fairies ... and even shopping carts, pigeons and Andre Gide !

The Education of a Fairy is a small, lightweight novel that talks about serious things, it's a childlike world and sometimes dream that recounts the sorrows of life, a little music to charm the ear of the reader but hugs his heart.
We feel that Didier Van Cauwelaert feels great tenderness towards his characters, and this may be why this novel is so sweet even that It tackles difficult topics (the separation, exile, war in Iraq suffering, life difficult in a city ...). So, he forgive an end too soon and we guess that little scent of rose water that tickles our noses to certain pages. We forgive him because this novel is valuable: it reminds us that it is sufficient to inject a little fantasy in our lives for the magic, the wonderful and proves that the child remains in us the outweighs the difficulties of everyday life.
Thanks to that which has chosen, it is a great discovery for me!

Two beautiful readings, therefore, to Harriet and me and copinettes what have they read? What did they think? Will quickly read the notes Sara , Rafafa , Dan and Gio!

Little wind of madness

Because the young lady took the bean to the daycare and she had pink cheeks all joy,
Because lovers MiniRikiki was very tight in his arms and she stars in the eyes telling us,
Because we were happy to find
Because it was too late to engage in an activity before dinner, already
Because Christmas is past, gone well, but the young lady wanted to hear "Jingle Bells" Because we do

It was something tribal, a bit offbeat because the mild weather also makes itself felt and that the song speaks of the winter wind and snow but it was good.

What Do I Need To Use Goldwell Color

The Curious Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman

"Look.
You would have seen the mortuary chapel abandoned its iron gates padlocked, ivy along the arrow, a shrub growing in the gutter at the roof height.
(...)
Maybe have you not seen a woman pale and plump dating back alley near the entrance gates, and even if you the view would, at closer inspection you would know it was only moonlight, fog and shadow. "

A mysterious assassin, Jack, killing an entire family except a baby just 18 months out of bed, down stairs, left the house, climbs the hill and into the cemetery where ghosts, intrigued, find it. When a still trembling and hesitant approaches, everyone understands that this is the mother of the child who has been murdered: it begs the ghosts take care of her son's mysterious killer will try to again. A couple of ghosts, Owens, decided to adopt the baby and they designate as guardian Silas's strange because only they can belong to the world of the dead as well as to the living world, which gives it the advantage of go into the real world to find food for the child.
Nobody Called and appointed free citizen of the cemetery, the child grows up among the ghosts and other fantasy creatures that populate the scene: wyvern, ghouls, werewolves, witches drowned and burned ... and characters from another time, sometimes very remote as Gaius Pompey, buried there 2000 years.
fantasy novel of initiation, the novel by Neil Gaiman is not that the story of life living in this small kingdom of the dead is also a very outstanding novel and mystery since the threat of the killer, Jack, still weighs and justifies the imprisonment of the child ...

Wonderful gallery of characters (even if some remain a bit shallow), immersed in a world so wonderful but Gothic, detective story, The strange life of Nobody Owens is a novel multiple. Yet I have not always been captivated, I admit I even skipped a few pages (my mood is perhaps the cause!). Fortunately, the last third of the novel is striking and significantly boosted my interest in this story: when I found that sometimes there were some delays, the writing has suddenly made very cinematic, the pace became breathless before leaving sweet emotion conclude the novel. In the acknowledgments
completing the book, the author states that it took 20 years to write, which may explain that it has several phases.
The few illustrations of Dave McKean are rather aimed at the first public The Curious Life of Nobody Owens , teenagers, but this novel is no less lush and demanding.
