Going to see as part of the film festival history Pessac, beautiful movie Madagascar Tabataba of Raymond Rajaonarivelo (a subtle evocation of the 1947 revolt against the French colonists ) I never imagined that I would discover the heart of the film, a real scene taurine .
The action takes place in a village in the east. The men took up arms (rifles wooden spears, machete) and went to fight the French occupiers. But new battles are not good, and to ward off bad luck, the head of the village decides to sacrifice a zebu. This tied a long rope runs through the small streets of the village as in the European toros rope, then the youth of the village and the reverse face, taking him by the horns (mancornar in Castilian). A clever ellipse avoids the scene of sacrifice.
This sequence lasts no longer than five minutes, of course, excited my curiosity and here is some information found on the Web:

Where it is discovered that the Bullfighting Madagascar - based on the cult of zebu - is alive with atmosphere evoking sometimes for those of us Pamplona (see video).
But maybe one day we'll know more by Chulo which, I believe, strong emotional ties with Madagascar ...
